Deus Ex Machina, born in Australia, is a cultural bridge builder intertwining the spheres of motorcycle and surf culture into a distinct design ethos. Renowned for innovation, they blend craftsmanship with creativity.
In both jiu jitsu and motorsport cultures, a passion for precision and style transcends boundaries, inspiring a community united by a love for adventure and individuality.
As a tribute to motorsport and the inevitable marks of wear and tear, the kimonos feature printed designs which naturally wear and develop a patina over time as they're worn. Across both sleeves, the phrase 'hold tight' is split, emblematic in both disciplines. It's a celebration of the significance of grips and the intricate details that hold immense importance, whether on wheels or mats.

All orders include free standard shipping within the United States. If you live in the U.S. — the lower 48 states, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, APO/FPO, etc. — shipping is on us. Overnight/next-day shipping is also available if you need it there in a jiffy, otherwise we'll pick up the tab and get it to you as quickly as we can, typically via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground.
Overnight/next-day shipping orders received before 3:00 PM Eastern Time will ship the same day. Overnight/next-day orders received after 3:00 PM Eastern Time will be shipped the following day

Returns
If something doesn't fit quite right or you just don't like the way it looks in person, we'll gladly take any item back as long as it's in the same condition it was sold. This means it can't have been washed or worn — trying on is okay — and any tags must still be attached. If it came in factory plastic and you can return that, great. If not, we can replace the plastic and there won't be a penalty.
We never charge a restocking fee for returning an item, but you are responsible for any return shipping charges. Just use the contact form to request a return and we'll get you squared away.
Please don't abuse this policy! We reserve the option to deduct shipping and transaction fees from the refund amount if you return too many items in too short a time. Thank you for your consideration!
